Organisation Overview :
- ARMMAN is a secular; India based non profit organization committed to improving the well being of pregnant mothers, newborn infants and children in the first five years of their life. We design and implement sustainable interventions to reduce maternal, neonatal and child mortality and morbidity in underprivileged urban and rural communities in India.
- Our approach is to identify and address systemic gaps in both health services delivery and community health care seeking practices by adopting a multi sectoral evidence based 'community needs assessment' approach. The core programs of ARMMAN make innovative use of technology to develop viable interventions and to maximize outreach.
Role:
Responsible for the development and implementation of assigned projects. Takes project from original concept through final implementation. Responsible for the day to day management and oversight of projects with Technology. This includes project planning, developing requirements documents, scheduling, developing technical product specifications, and actively engaging other members of the Technology team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Manage day to day projects including requirements gathering, timelines, and maintenance
- Act as gatekeeper for team projects, prioritizing issues when raised and distributing problems to the correct resources
- Work closely with other IT teams to understand business requirements and establish timelines for projects
- Develop and maintain processes within Technology to manage projects, resources and QA
- Work with IT Teams to assist in the creation of requirement documents
- Provide assistance to IT Teams where project issues are identified, detailed, improved upon or corrected early in the project development process
- Project planning, scheduling and tracking of project development cycles and acquisition of needed resources when appropriate
- Develop and implement plans in cooperation with development and infrastructure teams ensuring that key features are tested and that projects certified to be ready for production; are in fact ready for production
- Work closely with infrastructure team members; leading them to a successful project deliverable by working together on project features and prioritization of change requests
- Provide weekly updates to management on the status of open projects
- Assembles project team, assigning individual responsibilities
