Area Sales Manager
Job Duties/ Responsibilities :
Sales :
- Preparation, implementation and review of sales plan
- Continuous monitoring & Assessment the work of SO and SSO
- Daily monitoring of sales and retail productivity; & weekly sales review
- Cross Checking the updation/operation of Beats
- Continuous training at the time of Joint Field Work
- Weekly/Monthly submission of sales related reports
- Routine Market Visit
- Market Development-Consolidation of existing covered areas and expansion into new areas.
- Generation of Primary Sales in line with Secondary Sales
- Activities related to the tertiary sales in the region
Branding :
- Taking care of promotional activities for Brand Awareness & Visibility
- Execution of marketing activities and monthly reporting and review
- Responsible for tracking & monitoring competitor's products & activity
Distributor Management :
- Routine visits to distributors
- Ensuring a proper inventory management, distribution & Re-distribution so that orders procured are supplied on time
- Maintain and develop good business relationship with all existing distributors
- Ensure proper Depot/CFA Management
- Approval/Appointment of Distributor
- Ensure necessary ROI of the distributor
Decision Making Authority and Controls :
Decisions Made Alone : Strategy to achieve targets, product & positioning
Decisions on Consultative Mode : Product promotions, model mix / inventory levels
Decisions referred to Higher Level : Market /Counter Share
Work Relationships :
Internal Customer : To be focused on - Sales, Marketing & HR
External Customers : Distributors & Area Controllers
