Client Details
Our client is a global giant in consumer electronics, known for being at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, innovation and design. They have a line of several well-known products, and are leaders in their industry. To support their growth in India and fuel it further, they are currently looking for a Senior Area Sales Manager based out of Chennai.
Description
Reporting to the Regional Head - South, you will be responsible for:
- Working with a team of distributors to plan and achieve sales targets for the area
- Identifying opportunities which have a potential for launch of new or existing products
- Coordinating various sales programs and acting as mentor and guide for the sales force
- Establishing long term relationships with distributors and customers, and maintaining channels to receive regular customer feedback
- Looking after the entire Tamil Nadu and Kerala region, with a significant business size and grow the business
Profile
The ideal candidate would be an MBA from a top tier organization, ideally 2011/2012 batch. He/she must have a proven track record with sales targets and overall performance. The client would also like the candidate to be self-motivated and possess superior leadership, negotiation and influencing skills that they have clearly demonstrated in the past. A high Emotional Quotient and training skills would also be desirable.
