Area Head -- Operation Excellence ( MNC FMCG CO) -- Green Field Project
Key Accountabilities :
1) Operational Excellence through implementation of Factory Performance & Reliability standards
Develop implementation plan aligned with the Plantís capacity growth plan, Operational strategy, Labour strategy and communication strategy. Secure alignment of the Plant leadership, develop roles and responsibilities, develop system to review and monitor KPI performance, conduct effective periodic Management reviews to drive progress across all standards and areas.
2) 5S -
Partner with Operations team to coordinate implementation of 5S across all Equipment, lines and general areas. Partner with site EOHS & Quality leaders to ensure alignment with those initiatives. Ensure training/coaching of employees to progress the implementation to world class standards.
3) Effective Management & Shopfloor reviews -
Establish a mechanism on daily, weekly and monthly basis as appropriate for Plant performance review.
4) Autonomous Maintenance progression -
Develop and implement a stepwise plan to progress autonomous maintenance, ensure that roles and responsibilities are identified, operators are trained in requisite skills, small group activities are conducted and the AM KPIís are identified and reviewed to ensure continuous improvement.
5) Planned Maintenance progression -
Partner with Maintenance Engineer to ensure that a comprehensive PM plan encompassing, KPI targets, Roles & Responsibilities, Spare part Management, standardisation of maintenance procedures and a periodic review mechanism is in place to drive effectiveness of Planned Maintenance.
6) Continuous Improvement -
Partner with Plant Management to prioritise and select CI Projects for the Plant, ensuring standardised implementation approach, coaching/training for CI Teams and progress monitoring.
7) People Capability -
Partner with Focus Factory Management & HR to ensure an effective skill development program is in place and effectively implemented. This includes, skill gap assessment, systems to transfer & share knowledge, multiple skill development plan, Training facilities, Materials and Trainers etc.
Requirements : -
1) Candidate must possess Master in Industrial Engineering (prefer NITIE or IIT School of Management )
2) 1-2 years experience in a FMCG/Pharma manufacturing set up
(BATCH - 2009 / 2010 / 2011 PASSOUT --- PREFERRED )
