1. Scope of the role
To lay down the regional foundation for sales & distribution of fragrances and to plan & drive sales across assigned region across all channels namely trade, wot, lfs.
2. Job Profile
Ensure achivement of sales targets defined for the regions across all channels
Plan & direct trade operations along with distributor, including inventory control.
Overall responsibility of handling direct trade stores, payments, supplies etc
Maintain efficient operations & effective stock management
Coordinate retail activation of stores on a local level to drive up trials and sales. Liase with brand team. For the same. Track & monitor sales on a daily basis.
Track use of testers, collaterals, others across all chanel
Liase & assist lfs & wot teams to drive secondary sales. This includes, managing stock availablity, motivation of staff, providing all inputs like collaterals, and fire fighting, if any.
Identify/ roll out new avenues for sales. Plan for increasing width of quality distribution includin NTO'S AND CHAIN STORES.
Liase with SCM, and manage availability.
Appointment of channel partners like rs in identoified areas.
Drive visibility and VM for the brand in key stores within time lines and budgets.
3. Key Deliverables
Achievement of sales targets for each category across the region
Rapid channel expansion, identification and roll out of new stores
Management of rs including supervising operations, infrastructure & stocks
MIS reporting, planning of schemes, etc
Excellent channel partner relationship and ensure smooth functioning of business
Key task - distributor management. Sales & distribution, plan activities in stores and locally.
4. The right person:
Management graduate / graduates with at least 5 years experience acros trade and retail sales
Should have high execution focus
Should have good people management skills
Experience at trade sales & retail management
Exposure to managing local retail marketing, promotional activities & road shows etc
