Chief Operating Officer (COO)

A. Job Title : COO

B. Reporting to : Board of Directors

C. Job content : He will be responsible to complete the project on agreed time and within agreed budget. Some of the features this property which is already under development will have the following:-

a) Amusement Park

b) Water Park

g) Food Hub

h) Retail Mall

i) Family Entertainment Centre

D. Salary : Negotiable (30 – 40 L)

E. Job Accountability and Responsibilities:

Must hold COO designation currently

1. Provide the required linkage between the Board of Directors and the Executive Management Team, and provide them with adequate information to carry out their responsibilities.

2. Provide advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to the Executive Management Team to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies.

3. Conduct a strategic review of performance on a regular basis to determine whether the company is meeting its short-and long-term objectives (increase in profits, increase in market share, return on investment, etc).

4. Set departments' high-level goals, objectives and plans and work with them on attaining such goals by closely monitoring their operations.

5. Review the operating results of the company & compare them to established objectives and goals, and follow-up to ensure appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.

6. Establish and maintain an effective system of communications throughout the company to ensure that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities of all executives are clearly defined and understood.

7. Act as the principal public relations officer of the company and represent them with major customers, government entities, the financial community, and the public.

8. Delegate some responsibilities to appropriate executives in order to ensure smooth running of the company.

9. Liaison with top authorities, government agencies, ensure permits and approvals through statutory provisions and SOP's, Leasing.

F. Required Qualifications and Skills:

1. MBA from reputed institute. (ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY)

2. Must have financial and administrative experience at the highest level.

3. Strong visionary with proven leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial mindset.

4. Professional expertise, financial orientation, self starting initiative, cross cultural awareness, organization astuteness and team spirit.

5. Strong interpersonal skills such as leadership, communication, persuasion, motivation, loyalty, and openness.

6. Must be a professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character.

7. Excellent communication, liaison, risk management, and people management skills.
