Job Title: Assistant/ Associate Manager
Department: Corporate Sales
Location: Jaipur, Coimbatore, Trivandrum & Madurai
Reports to: Regional In-Charge
Purpose of role:
Driving profitable revenue in the designated territory through sales of group insurance products viz. group health, group PA and group overseas travel using the allocated distribution setup of intermediaries (brokers & agents), direct and any other identified channel as approved by the company.
Key responsibilities
The job-holder is responsible for delivering the assigned KRAs and KPIs by delivering the following:
Business Target:
- Achieve earmarked business target for the designated territory.
- Maintain a repository of business pipeline in the designated territory with complete information.
- Ensuring the pipeline of RFQ from the intermediaries.
Relationship Management:
- Activate intermediaries in the designated territory as applicable.
- Relationship Management with all the intermediaries for an ongoing business association and business yield as applicable.
- Relationship Management with key personnel of the prospects and clients.
- Work towards client satisfaction by working in close coordination with CRM and other internal teams.
Sales Team:
- Train identified agents for selling and winning group businesses.
- Coordinate with other functional departments for rendering committed service standards.
Sales Administration:
- Market research and portfolio buildup for the corporate group businesses in the designated territory.
- Ensure timely submission of business operation reports and any other report as may be asked for within the desired TAT.
- Ensuring high quality of all submitted reports.
- Assist the regional in-charge in achieving the business objective of the territory.
Qualifications:
- Essential: Any university graduate
- Desirable: Post Graduate / qualification in management (preferably MBA in marketing, finance, insurance & risk management) as a full time course.
Skills & work experience:
- 2 to 6 years of sales experience in Insurance (group business) – with major emphasis in group health insurance.
- Candidate must have minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the location for which the position is examined
- Extensive business knowledge of intermediaries
- Extensive knowledge of designated territory with respect to existing business potential and details thereof
- Proven ability to execute business targets
- Track record of delivering stretching business goals in a challenging business environment.
