Role : Banking/Insurance Analytics Lead

Designation : Deputy Group Manager, Band 8

No. Of Positions : 1

Location : Bangalore

Years Of Experience : 10 years of relevant experience in Banking/FS /Banking risk analytics

Qualifications:

- Masters in Econometrics / Statistics / Mathematics / Engineering / Operations Research

Reporting To : Analytics Leader

Key Responsibilities:

- Support solutions and deliver analytics offerings in the banking/insurance/financial services space

- Manage engagements from pre sales support to delivery

- Day to day administrative responsibility of the team members in projects

- Providing technical advisory to ongoing analytics projects

- Remote Client Management

- Providing support to Practice Management & Pre-Sales using material generated out of on-going Projects and Support knowledge management across the analytics organization

- Provide functional training to all analytics professionals in the organization (Project Managers, Data Miners, Data Analysts, Business Consultants)

- Participate in client/internal CNX verticals in banking discussions for analytics business Development

- Drive operational excellence in risk projects from execution point of view

- Provide thought leadership in risk management vertical

Desired Skills / Preferred Qualifications:

Must have the following experience of at least 10 years in banking /financial services covering the following:

- Overseeing sales/credit/risk management for retail products

- Supported business decision making

- Used analytics in decisions related to portfolio management

- Has used score cards in policy applications and usage

- Working knowledge of all banking products

- Exposure to analytics tools and technologies

Nice to have Skills:

- Experience in banking or insurance sales/ operations

- Experience in Sales/Product Management/Financial Management

- Working with business Process Management teams/companies

Other Skill Sets:

- Strong analytical/programming skills (job function doesn't require programming but requires skills to advice team members on programming)

- Strong documentation/presentation skill to perform successful monitoring to junior team members

- Strategic view of the business to drive new work in banking/insurance vertical
