Provide Business Performance Reporting & Analytical Solutions to RBWM Business Finance

Job Description:

- Job involves providing MI and analytical solutions on customer segments and product propositions to RBWM Business Finance. This includes reporting on key metrics, business performance tracking and dashboard creation.

- Responsible for flawless delivery of MI, insight generation to drive strategies across the key priority areas for RBWM (deposits, cards, mortgage & wealth) and be able to drive projects end-to-end.

- Work with multiple customers/functions on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver in a timely, efficient and effective manner. Monitoring and review of all projects with stakeholders to ensure that all stated SLAs are met.

- Partner effectively with onshore and offshore teams to deliver key projects, while understanding the overall objective.

- Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls

Skills/Experience Required:

- 0-4 years of prior experience within HSBC Analytics or similar roles externally

- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, economics, business, MIS, statistics or engineering.

- Masters degree/ MBA will be a plus.

- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving and project management skills

- Ability to comprehend intricate and diverse range of business problems and analyze them with limited or complex data and provide a feasible solution framework.

- Knowledge of SAS, SQL and other equivalent analytical tools.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas.

- Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills and drive for success.
