Analyst - Valuation & Investment - Real Estate Domain - IIM/MDI/ISB (2-6 yrs)
Roles and responsibilities :
1. The candidate helps clients strategize, evaluate, and execute real estate transactions to meet their business and occupancy needs.
2. Prepare detailed financial analysis, including NPV cash flows and portfolio opportunity mining
3. Occasionally performing complex financial analysis (e.g., headquarters, master plans, etc.) with supervision
4. Evaluate client building alternatives and lease options on qualitative and quantitative analysis
5. Running gap analysis on various technology tools to identify areas for improvement
6. Gathering and evaluating real estate market and property data
7. Researching companies, landlords, and potential subtenants
8. Conducting market calls, previewing space opportunities, developing placemats and gathering photos, intelligence
9. Prepare detailed approval documents for client submission
10. Assist in the preparation and update of reports, presentations and analysis, and update of online systems
11. Work directly with clients and team members to resolve financial model, transaction and landlord issues
12. Review of lease documents, write lease summaries and run key lease criteria reviews.
13. Run all reporting for the client including quarterly and annual reports
Qualification :
1. Postgraduate from Tier 1 Institute with 2-6 years of experience
2. Experience in real estate industry
3. Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments
4. Strong analytical ability, both financial and qualitative including use of logic
5. Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information
6. Ability to develop complex Excel models for efficiencies and scenario analysis which would include both the use of VBA (macros) and complex formulas
7. Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
8. Basic understanding of real estate and lease terminology
9. Well-developed verbal and written communications and presentation skills
10. Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners and clients
