Position: Analyst - Strategic Planning & Analytics (Leading MNC Pharma Co)
Role:
- To utilise primary & secondary market data and provide brand teams with insights for creation of their annual brand plan, constantly review and update the business analytics processes and data systems
Brand Planning:
- Provide recommendations to the brand teams regarding the insights gained from the analysis of market and/or customer information;
- Review ROI of marketing activities and provide recommendations or insights on more efficient use of resources;
- Monitor plan vs. actuals;
Strategic Analysis:
- Track the industry and competitors for assigned brands against metrics such as sales, sales force, etc.;
- Review historic sales data and provide recommendations;
- Conduct simulations on sales and analyze sales sensitivity;
- Conduct trend analysis to get more accurate forecasting for the brand;
- Provide inputs on geographic prioritization of the strategy
Requirements:
- Grad/ Post Grad in Engg/ Business/ Economics/ Science with 2-6 years of experience in Pharma Analytics and Strategy
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools;
- knowledge of pharma industry;
- knowledge of scripting language such as SQL and good excel skills;
- Proficiency in Mathematics;
- knowledge of strategic frameworks
