Role: Analyst / Senior Analyst, Consumer Businesses   Location: Mumbai, India  Job Description:  A prominent family office is looking to hire an Analyst / Senior Analyst for its consumer businesses vertical (consumer products and services; including education sector).   Key responsibilities include:  - Monitoring portfolio companies as well as the markets in which they operate.   - Engaging with portfolio companies across functions to improve business performance.  - Undertaking industry and company research in consumer vertical to support investment idea generation.   - Building detailed financial models, support due diligence, and transaction closure.  - Successful candidates should be diligent, intellectually curious, and take complete ownership of projects.  Qualification and pre-requisites:  - Candidates with prior Strategy/M&A experience in consumer businesses vertical will be preferred. Candidates from investment management/management consulting/investment banking with deep understanding of consumer businesses would also be considered.   - Relevant work experience of 2 - 3 years.  - CA+MBA / IIT+MBA preferred.  - Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.   - Exemplary attention to detail and accuracy, strong work ethic, ability to multitask, desire to learn and teamwork- orientation.  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.   - Conversant with MS Office
