LOCATION -- Mohali  POSITION - Analyst / Senior Analyst - INFRASTRUCTURE domain  REPORTING TO : Associate Director  OFFERED CTC - 7Lac to 12lac pa ; ( depending upon current CTC ; total experience ; educational background )  Job Description: Be part of a team providing national leadership and creating a transformative impact on the Indian infrastructure sector. This is a think-tank providing research, education, and thought leadership from a uniquely business and market perspective. The Institute will address the entire infrastructure management space and will study institutional mechanisms and incentive structures existing in the sector and work closely with government, industry and academia to propose and champion change to spur a sustainable development in the sector.   While the Institute will be working in all the infrastructure sectors, the focus areas in the near future would be in:   1. Urban Infrastructure  2. Public Private Partnership,   3. Legal and Regulatory Issues, and  4. Capacity Building  RESPONSIBILITIES  Analysts and Senior Analysts will carry out related work. Senior Analysts will play a larger role in designing projects, operating independently, providing project leadership for analysts, and actively representing the Institute externally. More specifically, the work would involve:  - Undertake complex studies around specific problems faced by the industry and develop innovative solutions.  - Under the leadership of an internal or external senior subject matter expert, develop and carry out projects within critical Institute areas, using research design, quantitative analysis, and the creation of research-based evidence to impact practice.  - Take part in the design, development and implementation of Institute conferences, symposia and trainings.  - Document and write up the result of projects, research activities, and events for the purpose of dissemination and publication.  - Undertake writing of proposals in their respective area(s) of work.   SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS  - At least a master's degree in a related field from a high-quality school is required.   - Proven strong analytic skills are required, including the ability to frame questions, gather information and data, and generate clear and robust solutions that add value in the practical world.   - The ability to carry out basic quantitative analysis is preferred.   - Strong organizing and writing skills are required. The ability to speak fluently and articulate issues and results in a clear and effective way is preferred.   Location:   We provide competitive salaries within an academic setting.
