Analyst/Senior Analyst - Healthcare Analytics - IIT Only

Purpose :

The Analyst will be responsible for working with statisticians, experts and consultants to understand the client's requirements, to design and to develop intelligent solutions using US Health Insurance claims data.

An Analyst is a key contributor to the success of a Healthcare Analytics project. Specifically s/he :

- Participates to the problem solving to design, deliver and maintain one or multiple models, algorithms to a our client

- Delivers the necessary analysis to inform the problem-solving process

- Crystalizes and documents the designed models and algorithms (typically in a comprehensive Detailed Business Requirement document)

- Works with our Technology team to turn the model and algorithms into an actual production grade code developed on the Big Data Platform

- Develops an expertise on at least one Healthcare Analytics asset (e.g., a specific model or a specific episode of care)

- Participates in IP development projects contributing to the overall knowledge and capabilities of Healthcare Analytics

- Develops strong knowledge related to healthcare e.g., Episode-based payment models, PCMH, ACO, Health Homes, Capitation models, medical management concepts, payment integrity concepts

- Develops strong knowledge of claims data e.g., ICD-9 codes, CPT codes, pharmacy claims coding

Qualification and work experience requirements :

- Bachelors degree (minimum requirement)

- Post Graduate/Graduate in Statistics or MBA from reputed institute (preferred)

- Formal Analytics academic course during Graduation/Post Graduation (minimum requirement)

- Experience in handling large data sets and applying statistical techniques in real word business environment (preferable)

- Experience in working in the US healthcare industry (preferable)
