Analyst/Senior Analyst - Data Analytics - BFSI (1-6 yrs)
Our client is one of the leading multinational financial services company, looking to hire Analyst / Senior Analyst in the Data Analytics space.
Responsibilities:
- The major functional focus of this position is providing sophisticated data analytics, data mining, advanced measurement, and other analytical techniques to gain insights, and support strategic decision making.
- The right candidate must thrive on setting up new paths in a new role with research, developing analytical models that serves business needs, and helps the organization's decision making and strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with business partners to understand project requirement and implement the same using sound data knowledge and experience.
- Independently conduct data analyses with minimal supervision.
- Delivery on Digital Analytics requirements for areas identified.
- Handle multiple projects in parallel with an eye to final packaging or finished deliverables.
- Projects can range from predictive modelling, strategic analysis to senior executive reporting projects.
- Consulting skills to help partners identify next steps within their areas and action on it.
- Effective and persuasive presentation (verbal and written) to project teams and business leaders.
- Focus on communication of insights and presentation.
- Comfortable with unstructured data and predictive modelling techniques.
Desired Candidate:
- Graduate / Post graduate degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or similar quantitative discipline or MBA from a premier school.
- 1.5 - 6 years of experience in data analytics and strategic analysis.
- Exposure to Abode analytics (site catalyst) and other adobe digital tools especially Report Builder, Adhoc analysis.
- Experience on working with unstructured data (Clickstream/web logs) with hands on experience on working with Hadoop environment.
- Exposure to tools like Radian 6, Clara bridge, text analytics would be added advantage.
- Exposure to SAS (Base and stat), Tableau, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
- Effective presentation and story boarding skills with exposure to executive level presentations.
- Ability to provide insights and recommendations using strong analytical skills; striving to convince key company decision makers of business benefits of the proposed solutions.
