About the role:

Insurance domain analyst is responsible for delivering impactful research, analysis and insights in accordance with the priorities agreed in insurance sector's Integrated Knowledge Plan, which include:

- Supporting key strategic offerings

- Providing market-impacting points of view to support sector's go-to-market priorities (may involve partnering with in development of thought leaderships)

- Supporting a service line or regional strategy

This role requires the ability to combine strong analytical and quantitative skills with a comprehensive understanding of clients- expectations and broader marketplace drivers.

An Analyst is a part of global team of analysts and works closely with the Insurance Knowledge Leader, Insurance Domain Leader (i.e. India team leader), Senior Insurance Analysts, other Insurance Analysts and Knowledge Managers to support Insurance leadership and other senior stakeholders, providing sharp insights

A collaborative mindset is crucial, as Analysts have a key role to play in supporting and driving networks within and outside their domains, sharing information across regions, service lines, accounts and offerings, and using that information to further strengthen the quality of insights produced.

Key requirements:

- Required work-ex: 6-8 years- experience in strategy, business analysis, industry research, management consulting or business performance in the insurance sector

- Qualification: Master's degree or postgraduate qualification

- Possesses deep understanding of the domain, strong analytical and writing skills to deliver a robust point of view.

- Credible experience working in a dynamic, client-driven environment; Strong understanding of internal & external stakeholders- requirements; responds with a sense of urgency

- Collaborative and able to work well both as part of a team and independently in a cross cultural and virtual set up

- Comfortable presenting to audiences and interfacing with stakeholders and internal customers at different levels of seniority

- Well-structured oral and written communications skills; able to explain difficult concepts in a clear, concise way, using appropriate analytics and visualization tools.

- Strong command over MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint; knowledge of SNL will be helpful

- May require occasional travel

- Supervision Responsibilities: Limited direct supervision responsibility but may serve as counselor or manager for other analysts. May require reviewing work of colleagues & mentor skill development for younger analysts
