About our Client - Our client is a leading Indian Private Equity player. It is a sector agnostic firm and focuses on equity growth and mezzanine deals. They are looking to hire a Pre MBA Analyst for their team based out of Mumbai.

Job Description - The role is based out of Mumbai, India. It is a structured 2 year Analyst program. The candidate will be responsible for:

- Building and refining complex financial models for valuation requirements

- Analysis and interpretation of financial statements; ability to then convey conclusions and insights clearly

- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis for a range of strategic M&A initiatives

- Work with Executives and Investment team, deal team and business unit colleagues cross functionally on a regular basis Portfolio management

- Work closely with management teams to evaluate potential add-on investments, assess opportunities in new and existing markets, and improve core operations

- Oversee / maintain deal pipeline, track market M&A activity, collate internal updates, create deal presentations for board and C-level executives

The Successful Candidate - The right candidate would have 1-2 years of Private equity/Consulting/M&A experience with a leading Private Equity fund/Consulting firm or an Investment Bank. Must be Pre-MBA and interested in going into a Private Equity role. MUST have:

- Excellent academic background from top-tier school (IIT or foreign Universities only) with strong GPA or a CA
