Reporting To : Associate Director

Offered CTC - 7 lac To 10 lac pa ; ( depending upon current CTC ; total experience ; educational background )

As a part of the Governance thrust area, the Institute is launching The Government Performance Group,a team of people headed by one of the most eminent professor in this field, that would be focusing on creating sophisticated performance management mechanisms within various governments.

Core responsibilities :

- Assist The Government Performance Management Group(TGPG) within the Institute in :

a) One of the key thrust areas of monitoring and evaluation (M&E).

b) Implementing Government Performance Management Systems (GPMS) in various States and other countries.

- Under the guidance of senior members of the team, carry out research projects by identifying and addressing key questions and issues in public policy, including quantitative summary and analysis.

- Assist in the publication of articles in scholarly journals, Op-Eds and blogs based on work done on projects.

- Take part in the design, development and implementation of conferences, symposia and training programs through short and long term courses.

- Document and write up the result of projects, research activities, and events for the purpose of dissemination and publication.

Skills and Qualifications :

- At least a master's degree in a related field or a professional degree (law, economics or management) from a highly reputed school is required.

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience of Performance Management in Government is required. ( from any industry like Social sector / Government sector /Management Consulting / Advisory / Social research / Education )

- Field experience in Monitoring and Evaluation of government projects

- Hands-on experience in interacting with senior government officials is required.

- Experience of implementing Government Performance Management Systems at State and Centre is required.

- Proven strong analytical skills are required.

- Strong organizing and writing skills are required.

- Ability to multi-task, and deliver quality work in a timely manner is needed.

- Needs to be able to work in a team.
