Analyst - IT Sourcing

Primary responsibilities include :

- Support strategic sourcing opportunities through the introduction of a competitive marketplace, demand management, supplier consolidation, and process reengineering

- Support and manage competitive bid processes, including RFP- s, RFI- s, RFQ- s

- Partner with Technology Leads and Legal team in the negotiation of various types of IT Vendor agreements; including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

- Own the full strategic sourcing cycle, including vendor identification and selection, price negotiation, and contract - red-lining- (editing).

- Prepare and/or assist with the review of reports and analyses of sourcing activities at the group and functional levels

- Assist internal clients with the identification of technical requirements review of the sourcing strategy and recommend process improvements where applicable.

- Manage a steady pipeline of transactions while supporting other senior sourcing managers

- Participate in the identification, planning, and management of a pipeline of strategic sourcing projects for SVM.

- Perform market research and benchmarking of suppliers and related service categories

Experience required :

- 3+ years of IT Sourcing /Procurement and vendor management experience - preferably for large global organizations within the Financial Services, Information Technology, Pharmaceutical, or Telecommunications verticals

- Relevant experience preparing MSAs, SOWs, and SLAs within IT spend areas such as Hardware, Software, and Professional Services.

- Demonstrated ability to manage a significant pipeline of deals/transactions simultaneously

- Strong analytical and communications skills: the successful candidate must elicit and analyze multiple proposals, create corresponding business cases (including financial reports), and present clear and concise summaries of recommended options

- Experience identifying and capturing sustainable hard savings in Sourcing initiatives.

- Interest in understanding the marketplace for IT infrastructure

- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to achieve effective compromises that preserve our business interests.

- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients and vendors.

- Ability to generate support for key initiatives from senior management and other critical stakeholders

- Experience with competitive bidding (RFI, RFP, RFQ), vendor selection, and vendor risk assessment

- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently

- Good communication skills and the ability to influence others through oral and written presentation.

- Good MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; Sharepoint and P2P platforms are a plus
