Analyst - Investment Banking - Valuation/M&A (1-2 yrs)
Our Client is a leading global Mid Market Investment Bank providing analysts the opportunity to work with internationally-based clients and teams, giving them unmatched global perspective
Role:
- Will contribute towards Valuations & Independent Opinion as they will work alongside the Global Valuations & Independent Opinion group team in executing quarterly appraisal assignments for leading Companies in the U.S.
- In addition to executing independent valuation assignments at the quarter ends, an analyst will work closely with the M&A team in Mumbai on various tasks related to a pitch, sell-side and buy-side transactions.
- Performing security valuations using various methodologies including shadow bond credit rating, market method, public comparables companies and precedent transactions
- Conducting industry and company-specific research for potential M&A transactions
- Identifying potential acquirers for domestic and global sell side transactions
- Interacting with clients on a regular basis
- Preparing Financial models
- Preparing Marketing materials
Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant or MBA from top tier institution.
- One to two years of professional experience in valuations, corporate finance or related fields.
- Excellent analytic foundation with advanced understanding of financial statements and various valuation methodologies
