Analyst - Investment Banking - IIT (0-4 yrs)
Client: Leading domestic Investment Bank
Role: Analyst-Investment Banking
Our client offers talented IIT graduates the opportunity to work as Investment Banking analysts. New analysts are placed into sector teams with broad coverage responsibilities for an array of industry sub-sectors. As an analyst, you will provide analytical support on mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and other financial advisory services.
You will assume a broad range of responsibilities including:
- Developing company valuations and financial models
- Developing transaction marketing materials including selling memoranda, roadshow presentations and pitch books
- Conducting industry and company research and analysis
- Acting as a point of contact throughout the transaction process
- Attending client meetings
- Developing varied industry and transaction expertise, and staying current on industry developments
- Developing an understanding of the underlying trends that affect the equity capital markets
- Gaining an understanding of the interests and investment criteria of a number of middle-market private equity firms
Candidates for the program will possess the following qualifications:
- A strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence
- The ability to excel in both team and self-directed settings
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology from IITs
- A working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software programs
- Prior experience in investment banking / finance is not mandatory
