Analyst – Business Intelligence Unit for Hyderabad  We have a requirement for Analyst - Business Intelligence Unit at Hyderabad with premier bank.  Business Intelligence Unit (BIU) is an integral part of various business decisions, performance reporting, product evaluation and innovations. BIU also acts as custodian of customer information and is important enabler for implementing various customer facing decisions. Team BIU comprises of analysts who use the knowledge of analytics, statistics, economics and technology to solve business problems. The team also looks after a number of critical customer relationship management systems and project manages a number of initiatives in these areas.   The candidate will be dedicated to, one or more of the following areas:   - Data management  - Business analyst for systems / initiatives project managed by BIU  - Customer communication management through campaigns  - Report formulation & performance management  - Conducting analysis and interpretation   Knowledge/Technical Skills:  - Good spreadsheet skills and understanding of techniques related to data manipulation.   - Proven ability to both analyse data and create high quality reports/presentations.   - Translating descriptive data into clear messages and logical narrative.  Nature of Work- KRAs:  - Perform analyses that help detect consumer behavioural patterns and translate findings into business actions that ultimately lead to improved financial results.   - Champion data driven insights on customer behaviour. Identify market opportunities as well as improve portfolio management strategies.   - Improve strategic decisions through analytics and data mining. Leverage state-of-the-art analytics tools and modeling techniques to solve business problems.   - Create experimental designs to understand drivers of business performance.  - Demonstrate leadership by successfully managing medium to large projects  - Ensure customer focused, quality and timely delivery of analytics projects.  Qualifications/Experience:  - Knowledge of systems and reasonable comfort level with using new software solutions.  - Experience in SAS, SQL, SAS Enterprise Miner, Teradata will be a plus.  Competencies:  - Analytical thinking: Strong analytical skills coupled with ability to make fast decisions.  - Learning Orientation: Strong orientation to assess new business problems and identify innovative analytic solutions along with drive to innovate / learn.  - Drive for results: Finding solutions to problems despite constraints, setting priorities, setting high performance standards.  - Strong communication skills: Ability to engage meaningfully with senior business leaders and external stakeholders.  - Interpersonal effectiveness and ability to influence - Using Data and Logic to convince others, articulation with conviction.  - Project Management skills.  Related Experience: 3 to 9 years of experience.   Desired Candidate’s Profile:   - Full Time MBA’s from Tier-I & Tier-2 Campuses with 3 to 9 yrs of exp.   Please note : Freshers (2014 Batch) wont be considered.
