Analyst/Associate - Private Equity Fund

The Role:- Analyst/ Associate

As an Analyst/Associate, The successful candidate in this role will be responsible for:

Research Industry / Sectors suitable for investment and prepare a list of potential investee companies in the target sectors

Providing initial investment review and screening of prospective investment opportunities for the firm as well as tracking of the firm's investment pipeline

Create detailed financial models for companies.

Working around various sets of assumptions to prepare financial scenarios to determine the optimal mix of debt and equity to maximize the return on investment.

Providing accurate valuation of the target Companies

Conduct financial, legal, commercial and environmental due diligence for prospective investee companies

Undertaking due diligence analysis, prepare financial models, use accounting techniques to appraise the business and conduct valuation of the companies to determine the potential of investing in it

Create IC decks of investee companies

Providing on-going monitoring of assets with the firm's portfolios including review of monthly operating results and maintaining project pro forma

Establishing and maintaining relationship with industry, trade and professional organizations to enhance visibility of the firm and its portfolio companies in the market place

The Requirements:- Analyst/ Associate

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

3 to 5 years of experience at a private equity firm.

The candidate should possess an MBA from a Premier Bschool.

CFA or any additional certifications would be an advantage.

Strong Industry knowledge

Should possess good quantitative and analytical skills

Should have strong attention to detail

Excellent communication & Presentation skills

Team player and self motivated individual
