Position - Assistant Manager

Location - Gurgaon

Work Experience - 5+ years

Job Description Individual(s) will be required to:

- Manage a team of analysts that cover companies across multiple sectors

- Run extensive reviews of financial models and related reports to improve the quality of output

- Develop a strong understanding of multiple sectors and write reports on key themes and trends

- Ensure proper training of resources to ensure the professional development of team members

- Assign clear responsibilities to team members to promote work independence at each level

- Monitor deliverables and ensure that work processes are adhered to and deliverable deadlines are met on a continuous basis

- Management reporting on team plan and deliverables

Skill Set Requirement

The skills essential for this job are as follows:

- Strong conceptual knowledge of accounting principles & financial management concepts

- Good Understanding of the inter-relationship between key Financial Statements.

- Good Sector Knowledge (multiple sectors) from an equity research perspective.

- Good Understanding of financial modelling and valuation multiples.

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal English) and experience in writing financial reports or commentary.

- Ability to train and mentor resources

- Sharp analytical and problem solving skills

- Extensive knowledge of MS Office

Relevant Experience

- Prior experience of tracking companies across different sectors in the APAC region which involves building financial models and publishing reports.

Academic Qualifications

- MBA Finance from a reputed institute

- CFA

- CA/ICWA
