Amway - Category Manager - Marketing - Nutrition (10-15 yrs)

Purpose of the role:

- Drive the Nutrition portfolio to unleash it's full potential

- Manage & develop Nutrilite and it's product offering to ensure optimal business performance & growth objectives in India

- Responsible & Accountable for all business & strategic aspects of Nutrilite, effectively leading & developing the brand managers to achieve brand goals

- Brand Champion & strategic liaison to Global & Regional Marketing Team in all areas of Brand Management

Primary Responsibilities:

- Responsible for growth and profitability of Nutrilite in India

- Responsible for brand building and consistent brand messaging

- Monitoring and analysis of brand financials, using findings to actively steer brand business plans

- Develop and implement short-term and long-term marketing strategies including launch and discontinuance decisions as well as the development of compelling marketing campaigns for hero products and key launches

- Evaluate, define and drive new product ideas for the category

- Management of brand budgets

- Monitoring and analysis of market and industry trends

- Close cooperation with the communication department, including the development of briefings for creative agencies

- Initiate and use market research to understand consumer and distributor needs and to make winning marketing decisions

- Provide leadership, guidance, development and management to staff member(s) and provide constructive feedback and recognition to direct reports

- Preparation of information materials and decision papers for internal management meetings and for our business partners

Required skills and competencies:

- Experience in brand and product management for a multi-national company. Brand experience with vitamins, minerals, dietary supplements or weight management products is an advantage.

- Experience with market research projects and external agencies

- A team player, experienced in working with international and cross-functional teams.

- Experience in working in an international environment

- Sound business acumen required, specifically financial skills

- Experience in coaching and staff development.

- Proven leadership skills

- Excellent communication and persuasion skills

- Understanding and good use of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, ERP's and CRM- s

- Self-reliant, proactive and highly motivated

- Able to work under pressure and with deadlines

- Willingness to travel

Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience

Educational Qualification: MBA in Marketing Mandatory
