Technical Project Manager - Pega

- The CFN Case Management Product Team within Global Services Network Technology is a dynamic team focused on delivering Case management strategic blue print capabilities across multiple markets.

- As a technology team we have responsibility for the end to end delivery of projects which requires us to work closely with our Capability and business partners, other Technology groups and service providers both internal and external.

- A vacancy exists for an innovative and highly motivated Technical Project Manager to join the CFN Case Management Product Team with in GCFT, Global Services Network Technology team.

- You will be joining an agile development team transforming Case management platform as per digital Customer fulfillment strategy. You will oversee the execution of cross-functional development programs from initiation through release, utilizing SDLC methodologies and leveraging Agile/Scrum concepts and principles where appropriate.

- You will work in partnership with Product Owners, core and extended team to understand Business needs and identify appropriate solutions, help create and prioritize the product backlog. You will be responsible for tracking iteration progress, actively contributing to design discussions, issue resolution and removing obstacles to ensure iteration commitments are met.

Qualifications :

- Provides Technical leadership to the development Scrum team(s)

- Leads interpretation of technical requirements from business use cases, critical input to help shape the design and usability of system solutions while ensuring adherence to SDLC / SAR compliance.

- Leads the development process, collaborating effectively across multiple cross-functional teams to skillfully execute on milestones and deliverables in a timely manner

- Proactively anticipates and manages any risks and issues that may arise during the delivery of product capabilities, and ensures that appropriate mitigation actions are undertaken.

- Leads engagement of delivery and/or support teams, negotiating where necessary to resolve resourcing conflicts that may arise due to availability or skill.

- Candidate must demonstrate a strong technical aptitude by understanding server-side technologies, modern programming languages and concepts that are frequently used throughout American Express Technology.

- Experience with Technology DR, AIM, Clarity processes and related systems are essential.

- Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies.

- Provides continuous support for ongoing application availability.

- Partners with junior Project Managers to provide critical technical input that helps shape the technical direction and approach of projects also acting as an interface with key business partners to provide regular status updates on key initiatives.

- This role may have direct people leadership responsibilities.

- Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

- 10+ years working experience in IT industry, experience with multiple phases of IT development lifecycle.

- 6+ years of experience in delivering enterprise level customer facing solutions as Technical Project Manager.

- PEGA Experience preferred technical solutions / applications utilizing the BPM Tool - Pega PRPC.

- Previous experience in leading delivery of components using AXP Reference Architectures, especially JAVA within a distributed computing environment.

- Demonstrated people leadership experience with 3+ year's leadership experience in a technology environment.

- Strong technical knowledge of Enterprise Java Applications with high transaction throughputs.

- Demonstrated experience in managing large scale technology development projects using Agile.

- Excellent relationship building skills and proven ability to influence and drive delivery across a geographical distributed organization.

- Superb collaboration and excellent communication skill.

- Strong focus on customers and clients, proven history and ability of exceeding customers expectations

- Strong sense of accountability and ownership, Proven success as a leader and driven to develop a team of high performers
