Job Description :   - Acquisitions & Portfolio Insights (APi) team within the Integrated Marketing Solutions (IMS) organization is responsible for creating and maintaining data repositories and reporting solutions which enable our partners across the proprietary international markets to drive effective business strategies, make fact based decisions and track business outcomes.   - This Systems Analyst/Assistant Manager position will focus on maintaining existing capabilities, driving continuous innovation, creating new capabilities as per business needs, catering to partner queries and providing them consultation on how to use and interpret the various variables/metrics available to them and driving adhoc analysis as needed.  Key Responsibilities Include :   - Create and maintain data and reporting capabilities.   - Take ownership of accuracy of information provided as it forms a key input to senior management decision-making.   - Manage own work flow for assigned functions and become a subject matter expert in the areas supported  - Ensure that processes that are created and implemented have strong value proposition for the business and long lasting usefulness.   - Drive effective quality checks and proactively identify any issues. Wherever applicable fix the same and as needed, partner with stakeholders to drive issue resolution.  - Provide quality solutions and alternatives that meet customer requirements and project deliverables.   - Supports the analysis of business requirements by utilizing knowledge of one or more business areas and platforms/applications for the portfolio supported.   - Proactively communicate and manage risk for assigned tasks.  - Must be a self starter and drive key processes, while working well in a team environment as a key contributor.   - Accountable for technical/process documentation as required and in support of the project management methodology.  - Create and maintain the best practice coding environment to ensure future code scalability and reuse.  - Continuously explore the possibilities for process improvements and creating efficiencies with usage of new tools and technologies.   - Experienced professional in a team member role. Nature of work is similar to SE 1 but level of supervision is lower. Have the ability to think through and work on business solutions  Qualifications :  - Minimum 2 years of programming experience in Base SAS, SAS Macros, MS Excel (Macros, Pivots), SQL.  - Must be open to learning new tools and technologies.   - Programming experience in any other language/s will be a definite advantage.   - Experience with UNIX Shell scripts and automation techniques is strongly desirable.   - Proven ability to translate business specification into technical requirements.  - Ability to understand data, research and fix issues. Be hands on with working on large datasets.   - Understanding of database concepts like table structures, data relationships, and data coding.   - Prior experience in managing end to end processes is preferred.   - Knowledge of internal American Express Systems, including IDN, CMHDB, CRDMIS, GlobeStar, GNA etc. will be a good to have.  - Minimum of Bachelor- s degree in a technical or quantitative field  Job type- Full Time  Industry Type - Technology   The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
