Power for seven consecutive years.   A career at American Express is rich in experience and offers opportunities to build lasting relationships with our customers.   Come join us and realize your potential.   Manager/Senior Manager - Risk Management, AEBC India Chief Risk Officer  This position will be the Chief Risk Officer for American Express Banking Corporation and a part of the Global Risk, Banking and Compliance organization.   This position reports to the Vice President, AEBC HQ Chief Risk Officer and will be responsible for :  - Responsible for the development and ongoing management of the Aggregate Risk framework for AEBC  - Providing support to AEBC HQ CRO for effective and comprehensive functioning of AEBC Risk Management Committee (RMC)   - Partnering closely to develop and maintain AEBC Risk Management Policies  - Supporting the Bank's annual Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process ( ICAAP )   - Serving as the key CRO office point of contact for internal and external partners for all compliance, legal, operational and regulatory matters   - Serving as the key CRO office point of contact for all internal and external audits (IAG, RBI and NYSDFS). Partner closely with AEBC legal, compliance, banking operations, treasury, Risk Management, Operational Risk and business colleagues for identification, documentation and action of all gaps (self-identified and identified through audits) in a timely, consistent and compliant manner  - Developing in-depth understanding of the economics and embedded risk in the business   - Ensuring complete understanding of and adherence to local laws & regulations   - Ensuring full understanding, alignment and compliance with American Express Management Policies  Qualifications :   - The successful candidate will possess the following :  - Strong analytical, project management and structured problem solving skills  - Strong Proficiency in SAS, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.  - Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and on aggressive time-lines with minimal supervision  - Effective team player and be able to manage multiple projects   - Excellent oral and written communication skills   - Experience in analyzing data, drawing inferences and making recommendations   - Strong relationship management and negotiation skills   - Ability to synthesize complex issues such as regulatory and audit requirements  - An advanced degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Statistics or Economics and/or equivalent work experience will be preferred.  Job type- Full Time  Industry Type - Operations   The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
