Purpose of the Role : - MIS and Analytics to support Testing transformation and automation efforts being led by GRPA (Global Regulatory and Policy Assurance) group for GSG. GRPA is responsible for performing testing and driving controls across GSG processes. - The candidate will lead a team of analysts and programmers who will be responsible for identifying key areas where testing initiatives can be automated/targeted by utilizing MIS, Analytics and enhanced capabilities in close partnership with GSG teams. Responsibilities : - Work very closely with GRPA and multiple GSG teams to help define and execute Testing transformation solutions with a view to Automate risk-based testing. The individual would be responsible for writing complex codes and algorithms by tapping into multiple data sources within and outside Cornerstone (sourcing to staging data with potential Risks, providing insights to exposing them for consumption for testing via automated reporting platforms/strategy implementation) - Assist in building automated solutions by leveraging advanced analytical techniques from both structured and unstructured data - Simultaneous and End-End ownership from defining to implementation and refinement of KRIs (Key Risk Indicators) for multiple GSG processes by following an agile framework - Provide strong technical and people leadership to the team members - Extend support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of defined KRIs by understanding the underlying issues and implementing refinements in a short period of time - Enabling business user self-service through creation of advanced MIS/ reporting capabilities with minimum manual intervention - Systematically identify out of pattern activities in a timely manner and address information gaps by providing timely insights, alerts and refinement solutions - Working independently assuming responsibility for the development, validation, implementation and refinement of solutions and defined KRIs/ processes - Effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization across multiple time zones and regions.Qualifications Critical Factors to Success : - Strong mix of strategic thinking, advanced analytics knowledge, and people leadership skills - Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills. Track record of analyzing multiple sources of data to distil insights and drive business outcomes - Ensure timely and accurate MIS/ Analytics based on customer requirements - Extremely strong process and data expertise cutting across GSG processes / platforms - Provide analytical and decision support framework and address information gaps through insightful analytics and developing lead indicators - Build collaborative relationships across GSG groups and participate on global teams evaluating the current and new solutions for improvements under tight timelines - Put enterprise thinking first, connect the role's agenda to enterprise priorities and balance the needs of customers, partners, colleagues & shareholders Experience : - Preferably a minimum 5 years experience with at least 3 years in Quantitative Business Analysis/Data Science with experience in handling large data sets Academic Background : - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in a quantitative field - Post-graduate degree in a quantitative field will be an added advantage Skills/Capabilities : - Proven thought leadership, strong communication, relationship management and influencing skills - Excellent programming skills on Hive/SAS/SQL/Teradata is essential with strong understanding of Big Data ecosystems - Experience with BI, reporting and workflow tools like Tableau, CLIC etc. - Experience of mining data for testing & monitoring and the ability to translate algorithms/analyses into insights, preferred - Exposure to Python/R/Statistical packages, familiarity with NLP, Machine Learning, AI will be an added advantage - Extremely strong process and data expertise cutting across GSG processes / platforms - Advanced MS Office and Project management skills - Strong Data presentation & visualization skills - Must possess strong quantitative and analytical Skills and be a conceptual and innovative thinker - Project management skills and ability to identify and translate business information needs into insights and information cubes for ease of consumption in reporting and analytics - Ability to work on multiple requests simultaneously, flexibility and adaptability to work within tight deadlines and changing priorities Behavioral Skills/Capabilities : - Set the Agenda: Define What Winning Looks Like, Put Enterprise Thinking First, Lead with an External Perspective. - Bring Others with You: Build the Best Team, Seek & Provide Coaching Feedback, Make Collaboration Essential. - Do It the Right Way: Communicate Frequently, Candidly & Clearly, Make Decisions Quickly & Effectively, Live the Blue Box Values, Great Leadership Demands Courage.
