Function Description :


This position is US Regulatory Reporting team and will primarily responsible for preparation and filling of US Fed reports like FR Y9-LP, Bank call reports and report into Director - US Regulatory Reporting.


Purpose of the Role :


The candidate will be required to prepare and file the US Regulatory Reports to the regulators like Federal Reserve and NYSDFS.


Responsibilities :


- Responsible for preparation, review & filling of US Fed reports


- Understand regulatory reporting requirements and apply/implement the same to the reports


- Understand RRD platform, architecture and the report logics build to maintain and run automated reports


- Responsible for leading critical business initiatives and other initiatives identified by leadership to transform current processes


- Lead, engage & motivate high performing team


- Ensure defined controls are operating as expected and identify any gaps in controls


- Ability to manage competing priorities with eye for details


- Strong analytical skills, self-motivated & go-getter


Qualifications :


Critical Factors to Success :


- Accurate and timely filing to regulators


- Understanding the impact of various business initiatives on regulatory reports


Past Experience :


- US GAAP knowledge & experience


- Regulatory/ external reporting experience is preferable


- Project management experience and knowledge of SQL will be added advantage


Academic Background :


- CA/CPA with 5-7 years of relevant experience


Functional Skills/Capabilities :


- Multi tasking with strong analytical skills


- Understanding how different business initiatives can impact regulatory reporting


Technical Skills/Capabilities:


- Knowledge of US regulatory reports


- Well versed with SEC filings and upcoming changes to US GAAP


Knowledge of Platforms :


- Oracle, essbase


- RRD architecture
