Job Description :  - This position will be part of a highly motivated & innovative team within the GMS Insights and Analytics group of Risk and Information Management Center of Excellence (RIM CoE).   - Our world-class analytics organization applies rigorous, solution-oriented analysis and modeling techniques to help businesses attract and retain customers, understand market trends, track and diagnose market share changes and improve advertising and marketing effectiveness.   - The vision for GMS Insights & Analytics is to maximize the commercial opportunities for American Express through the use of our unique information to meet customer needs.   - This role is part of the GMS analytics team focused on generating insights from Amex Digital Merchant Marketing Campaigns / Amex Offers and Smart Currency.  - The team leverages analytical techniques like kNN, GBM for their analysis. Team is also focused on developing new products that can be monetized and sold as a consulting/Insights solution to GMS Clients.   Job Responsibilities :  - Delivery of high impact merchant measurement solutions related to Amex Offers   - Evaluating Amex value proposition of Smart Currency   - Innovate and develop new analytical products & solutions which will add value to merchant   - Maintain documentation of best practice code/process This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.   - Positions in Risk Management lead the development of credit, operational, enterprise, and fraud policies designed to profitably grow the portfolio, while ensuring excellent customer experience.   - These policies utilize mathematical models and other techniques to understand and predict customer behavior.  - At the analyst level, the employee is beginning to develop expertise in the field. Receives general instruction on moderately complex problems and issues  Qualifications :  - Expert level proficiency in SAS/SQL   - Proficient in statistical analysis e.g. predictive modeling and data mining techniques   - Experience with analysis of large amount of data into meaningful and actionable insights   - Ability to explain advance algorithms to non technical audience   - Strong strategic thinking and problem solving skills  - Strong quantitative skills   - Masters degree in Economics/Maths/Stats from DSE, IGIDR, etc.   Job type- Full Time  Industry Type - Operations   The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
