Currently, we are seeking a social media advertising specialist who will be a part of the social media marketing team and help scale up the traffic and revenue generated from paid advertising initiatives on Social Media, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency. The Social Media Advertising Specialist will be a part of the team that manages social media marketing for Amazon.in and Junglee.com and would be responsible for scaling up paid advertising initiatives by identifying and exploring upcoming advertising opportunities across social media as well as improving efficiency. The role requires the person to be adept at running both performance based Facebook campaigns as well as branding initiatives such as Facebook Logouts and sponsored initiatives on Twitter. An ideal candidate will be expected to ideate and come up with new campaigns while managing existing campaigns, as well as quickly test waters with any new advertising opportunity that may come along to make it part of the Amazon social advertising portfolio. In this role, the candidate is expected to interact closely with the category management teams and creative design teams on a day to day basis. He/ she will be expected to understand requirements & goals of the category management team and support them through robust campaign planning, provide regular feedback on campaign performance as well as share advice based on market trends. He / she is also expected to co-ordinate creative design for the campaigns, as well as ensure synergies with overall brand-level and website-level messaging. The role would also require close coordination with technology teams to arrive at solutions to automate any processes. He / she will also be responsible to drive innovations through new products / new strategies. Additionally, the Marketing Specialist will be expected to provide an update on performance of the channel on a regular basis and come up with actionable insights to improve the performance of the channel. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong analytical as well as entrepreneurial skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative climate and a keen eye to adapt to the ever-evolving world of social media.  Basic Qualifications  - 4+ years of experience in online marketing  - Proven experience using digital marketing to drive online customer acquisition and revenue generation  - In-depth understanding of various aspects of social media advertising, especially Facebook Power Editor.  - Passionate and knowledgeable about current and emerging social networks  - Experience working in a fast-paced environment  - Excellent written and oral communication skills  - Strong analytical skills & ability to interpret large amounts of data  - Ability to establish credibility and work with business and technical owners  - Familiarity general MS office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)  - Bachelor's degree from a reputed institute  Preferred Qualifications  - Familiarity with social media marketing  - Experience in working with Facebook Power Editor, Facebook Exchange & Twitter advertising  - Good verbal and written communications skills  - Ability to take full ownership of areas of responsibility, not merely respond to requests and take direction, but anticipate and solve for problems that haven't yet occurred, imagine improvements and innovations, and implement solutions autonomously  - Strong bias for action, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and exceptional attention to detail  - Ability to capture, measure, and interpret relevant data and take appropriate action as a result  - MBA from a reputed organization
