Amazon is seeking dynamic, organized leader to join our Finance team as a Senior Finance Manager for India Operations. Duties will include:

- Real estate and engineering build analysis for fulfillment centers

- Lead inventory management across the FC network

-Drive process improvements within both engineering & supply chain including standard work to improve operational efficiency

- Work with the procurement teams to identify strategic capital procurement opportunities to identify savings

- Work across retail, FC Ops, transportation and supply chain to manage short term and long term inventory and unit estimates

- Develop long term capacity plans to support business requirements

- Capital spend analysis and reporting

- Build, coordinate and report financials for R&O (Risks and Opportunities), month end close, OP1/OP2 (annual plans),

- Manage the Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly results and metrics reporting.

Key Strategic Objectives :

As senior member of the Management Team, this position provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the organization has the appropriate finance direction, financial and operational controls, the necessary administrative and reporting procedures, and the required information technology / systems in place to effectively grow the organization while ensuring ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.

- The role has primary P&L responsibility and requires partnering with many internal teams (Operations, Transportation, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Accounting, Retail Finance, Accounts Payable, Engineering, Real Estate, Treasury and IT) to drive performance and simultaneously build a world class Operations Finance team.

- This candidate will be responsible for the development of the India operations financial management strategy and contribute to the development of the organization's strategic goals including growing the business and driving cost-out. He/she will lead the operational planning process, interacting with Senior Executives across Finance, Operations and Retail.

- The successful candidate will drive new insights into key financial and operational performance drivers and become a trusted leader within the organization. This candidate will be a strong and inspirational leader who has a proven track record for hiring, developing and retaining the best talent.

Focus and Deliverables for first 12 Months

- A key focus will be on building a strong, sustainable organization (including standard and scalable processes) which includes deep bench strength (demonstrated by a record of development of strong successors in their former companies) .

- In addition, the right individual will have solid business judgment, strong controllership focus, accounting strength and the capability to drive a fast paced organization to the right results with a focused and pragmatic approach to the business.

- They will be able to clearly articulate changes in the financial structure and present to senior management as well as regional partners within India Operations. Educational Requirements

CAi n Finance, Accounting or similar degree.

MBA Finance from a highly regarded business school is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

- Demonstrated financial analysis and modeling skills

- Experience with financial reporting

- Highly analytical and detail oriented

- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload

- Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions

- Process improvement experience (ideally Lean and/or Six Sigma)

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

- Proficiency in Oracle Financials and Essbase a plus

- Knowledge of Distribution Center processes and systems a plus

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Partner with Operations and Retail to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance

Develop and support the growth strategy of the business to get big fast

- Lead the annual operational planning process and development of the three year strategic plan

- Ensure timely and accurate metrics and forecasts are created and maintained

- Partner with teams across the organization to drive optimal cross functional decisions that maximize Amazon's long term free cash flow

- Identify and develop key business opportunities and drive efficiency while balancing customer promise

- Support ad-hoc integration and expansion projects for new business initiatives
