Amazon IN Softlines is seeking a driven, strategic, and customer-centric Business Analyst Manager. You will work with multiple categories in the Softlines team to develop and drive reporting, analytics and insights for the business and hence deliver significant impact team's performance. You will be responsible to:

- Identify, develop and execute data analysis to uncover areas of business opportunities.

- Present written recommendations and insights to key stakeholders that will help shape strategies that deliver results.

- Design and execute analyses and data mining by utilizing available analysis tools, interpret the results and develop recommendations and actionable steps based on the learning.

- Own the complete centralized analytics for key metrics and indicators by which the Category Management teams, Operations Excellence team, Finance partners will execute their projects and assess their performance.

- Work with the category leaders, finance partners to conceptualize and execute on projects which will result in growing the business bigger, leaner and help us to get close to our customers.

- Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon's data resources and know how, when and which data sources to use.

- Deep dive into massive data sets to answer key business questions using MS Excel, Oracle SQL and other data manipulation languages.

- Manage and execute entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling and problem solving.

Basic Qualifications :

- Relevant experience in data analysis, research, experimentation, business intelligence and data warehousing tools, or comparable consumer analytics solutions.

- Advanced skills using SQL, ETL and databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets; query tuning, data modeling

- Bachelors or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.

- Proven analytical and quantitative skills (including ability to effectively use tools such as Excel and Access) and an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses.

- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads in a fast paced environment

- Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in a cross functional team

- Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems.

- Demonstrated high degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.

- Strong verbal and written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

- Strong program or project management experience

- Understanding ETL Manager, Data Warehouse.

- Has experience with data presentation to tell a story.
