Security & Loss Prevention Manager  Purpose of the Role/ Functional Context :   - The primary objective of the Security & Loss Prevention Specialist manager is to ensure the protection of people & assets of amazon sites in accordance with GSO guidelines and Policies. The Security & Loss Prevention Specialist manager is a key member of the Amazon INSLP team and reports to Country Head (INSLP).The role is cross-functional which requires deep collaboration and influencing ability with stakeholders from business and corporate functions. He/she assist Regional security manager in day to day activities such investigations, Risk assessments, data analysis, implementation of security policies in middle mile and last mile operations, drive compliance and superior quality amongst stakeholders and vendors. The position  Responsibilities :  - Perform risk assessment of site & operation model and frame mitigation measures.  - Manage physical security of sites through guarding service.  - Monitor optimum functioning of electronic surveillance devices in accordance with GSO policies.  - Drive excellence through existing third party vendors as per agreed.  - Ability to work on various tools & perform trend analysis using data mining, monitoring and analytical skills to detect patterns indicating theft, fraud or abuse.  - Ability to conduct detailed investigation within the policy framework, identify root cause & document management action plan for process formulation/ compliance/ improvement  - Evaluate SLP process performance, internal policies and recommend mitigation/ optimization areas  - Build effective working relationship within team & manage stakeholders to drive closure of optimization trackers and management action plan.  - Effectively manage security services vendor for SLA adherence and conduct training for guarding force on SLP processes.  - Manage preventive maintenance of fire safety devices & train staff on emergency response  - Ability to respond & implement crisis management plan to support business continuity  - Coordinate with Govt agencies and law enforcement agencies for various matters related to security.  - Coach, mentor and develop new team members.  - Report incidents to GSCC as per agreed escalation matrix. Incidents are communicated and forwarded to proper Amazon's senior management.  - Possess the ability to deliver under pressure and strenuous situations.  - Escalate issues as appropriate and also address the escalations from the team resolve as per the agreed matrix.  - Possess complete understanding of surveillance, access control systems, etc.  Basic requirements, qualifications :  - The ideal candidate will be a successful manager overseeing multiple locations in a Military, law enforcement or S&LP-related profession with 70% of military/Law enforcement experience and 30% corporate experience, although applicants with other ranges of experience may also apply.  - Minimum graduate with 8 years experience on investigative or loss prevention field, preferably in a multinational environment.  - Strong analytical and problem solving skills  - Advanced level of computer literacy including proficiency in MS office package.  - Good knowledge of MS Excel.  - Strong communication skills & fluent knowledge of verbal & written English.  - Knowledge of vernacular language.  - Demonstrated ability to deal with business tools & understand business metrics.  - Demonstrated ability to perform in pressure environment with adherence to timelines.  - Critical thinking & attention to detail of a narrative.  - Strong interpersonal skills & proven experience in managing stakeholders and vendors  - Strong business ethics, discretion.  - Be able to work and travel as required by amazon.  Preferred requirements, qualifications:  - Post graduate in law enforcement or any equivalent degree  - Experience in working with law enforcement or military/ investigative function.  - Certified in Reid technique or WZ non confrontation investigation techniques.  Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
