Amazon.com's Transportation team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to manage the activities associated with New Program Launches for AMZL India  - An ideal candidate has a background in transportation/supply chain or consumer goods industry launching new products. A program manager in a technology company can also be considered.   - He/she has the ability to drive process improvements, standardize our processes and eliminate the root cause of defects within the current systems.  - This job will require exceptional communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a high pressure environment, across a large number of teams. The work environment will be dynamic and most of the processes will have to be built from scratch. The candidate will also play a key role in giving inputs to the technology solutions being designed to aid the program design.  Job Responsibilities :  - Manage the New Programs Execution Function for TOC  - Work with the Program Management team to build the exception management process paths associated with new Programs  - Create the communication framework and execute the same for pre-launch alignment making sure all dependencies are taken care of  - Manage the pilot execution and monitoring of performance, and green lighting expansions basis performance  - Managing the continuous improvement cycle communication to PM team so that iterations can be done from technology to arrive at the end state.  Basic Qualifications :  - An Engineering degree in a quant intensive discipline  - At least 5 years of industry experience in supply chain/technology industry involved in new product launches  - MBA from a top tier business school  - Record of delivering large analytical solutions with business impact  - Experience on R/SAS/Matlab and SQL  - Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including a strong working knowledge of Excel  - Problem solving ability and passion for big data  - Excellent communication and data presentation skills  - Fluent written and spoken English  - Professional traits necessary for Amazon leaders:  - Exhibits business judgement  - Has relentlessly high standards  - Dives deep and is result oriented  - Thinks big and has convictions  - Works in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired and ambiguity is the norm  Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
