The team drives the entire ingestion and certification process for android apps, which involves the entire lifecycle from the time a developer submits an app/skill to the time it is put up on the store, and ensuring the high quality experience for Fire tables, Fire TV customers even after that.

We are seeking a Super star Program Manager to work on worldwide launches of Fire Tablets and Fire TV devices. The right person for this role will have solid experience delivering successful projects, managing deadlines and risks across multiple global teams, communicating effectively to stakeholders and closely with the cross-functional teams to deliver scalable programs and launch cool new devices and features to global customers. Our environment is very fast-paced and requires someone who is flexible, energetic, a "doer", biased for action, very detail-oriented, holds high personal standards and comfortable tracking many threads across many teams.

Roles and Responsibilities - 

- Responsible for program management of Fire Tablet/ Fire TV New device and OS launches world wide.

- Planning and execution of end to end launch process. Monitor the progress and report to management periodically

- Use suitable tools to ensure proper program management and governance

- Manage stakeholders working from remote locations

- Work with technology teams to identify and resolve issues and blockers

- Represent Appstore in launch forums and other related discussions across Amazon

Identify risks ahead of time and take corrective actions in consultation with management

Basic qualifications

- 2 to 6 years of overall work experience with 3+ years of program/program management, consulting or related experience.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, features and drive management of program.

- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.

- Collaborative working style. Must work well in a team environment.

- Must have bias for action and strong work ethic.

- Proven ability to deliver first class customer experiences with a deep understanding of best practices
