The candidate will be responsible for identification and growth of new ideas, developing and implementing Program strategy. The Program Manager will be responsible for defining a program roadmap and requirements for the platform. Throughout this process the Program Manager will drive continuous innovation and improvements to deliver fast, easy, and rich functionality, and help deliver on the best in class customer experience. Core responsibilities for this position include: - Understand customer pain areas through deep dive into data or customer anecdotes. - Size the problem/opportunity along with estimated impact. - Work on prototypes by coding in macro/python/R after taking inputs from key stakeholders. - Demonstrate success by running small pilots and benchmarking results against existing metrics. - Continuously work with stakeholders to build adoption and get feedback to improve the macro/python/R model. - Work with SDE to get the production ready solution. - Manage the entire program end to end and keep on raising the bar Basic Qualifications - Deep understanding and passion for e-commerce required. - Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction. - Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business - by the numbers- . Must be metrics-driven. - Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment. - Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly. Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented. - Advanced IT literacy especially in Microsoft Office applications. - Strong process definition and optimization skills; proven ability to define effective, efficient, and scalable processes and drive continuous improvement through root cause identification and defect elimination. - Attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects in parallel. Bachelors required in computer science, sciences or engineering, masters preferred. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with e-commerce, retail, advertising, or media would be an advantage. - Track record of managing and building projects with big scale and high impact. - Demonstrated intense customer focus. - Demonstrated highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty, and strong work ethic. - Sharp, analytical, and thoughtful. Thoroughly thinks through problems to come up with solutions. - Proven ability to successfully thrive in an ambiguous environment and changing market conditions.
