The Amazon Media Team is looking for a talented and experienced Marketing Manager with strong marketing, analytical, and communication skills to join our site merchandising team. This candidate will develop marketing strategies to drive demand and new customer acquisition across multiple traffic channels, with cross-category partners, and with external partners. This position will also focus heavily on increasing efficiency across various media categories by implementing scalable and automated marketing solutions. This person will also work closely with the Vendor Management team to build, implement and analyze marketing and merchandising programs that promote the Kindle Books business.

Primary responsibilities include:

Build marketing strategies and execute innovative merchandising initiatives to drive conversion and new customer acquisition across multiple traffic channels by partnering with internal and external stakeholders.

Develop a deep understanding of all traffic-driving mechanisms (free search/SEO, paid search, affiliates, email, display ads, mobile, and social media) and develop recommendations that will optimize traffic and conversion across all channels.

Conduct data analysis to measure marketing effectiveness, test and iterate on new ideas to grow the business and continuously improve marketing programs and campaigns across channels.

Develop targeting strategies that will improve marketing and merchandising performance.

Work with vendors and vendor managers to create on-brand, best-in-class content to promote top titles and sale events.

Drive site improvements to completion by coordinating with project managers, web developers, engineers, designers, and other merchandisers.

Write strong Amazon-approved campaign copy that is appealing and resonates with customers.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of digital marketing experience, including people management, designing and executing highly visible online customer experiences

Demonstrated ability to use hard data and metrics to measure performance, determine improvements and drive innovations

Experience interpreting and communicating analytics to stakeholders including senior management

Strong bias for action with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Proficiency with XML and Excel
