Amazon India marketing team is a group within Amazon in India dedicated to marketing Amazon products and services to Indian consumers.

Amazon India marketing team is seeking for a creative, dynamic and motivated Senior Marketing Manager to take full responsibilities of all customer communication on the website including creating and driving the annual marketing calendar. His/her span of control and responsibilities will be very diverse, ranging from business development, cross-department collaboration, vendor relationship management, operational efficiency improvement, change management and performance management etc. The person is expected to effectively partner with not only internal cross-functional teams but also external vendors; not only India local teams but also multiple teams across other Amazon locales.

Background and experience in brand marketing or e-commerce is required and a proven track record of driving innovation in systems, physical or virtual processes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Development and implement strategies for increasing awareness of the amazon brand in India, translate them into an achievable roadmap/action plan and manage a team of 4-5 leaders.

- Oversee all operations of marketing activities with an emphasis on process seamlessness, quality and a superlative customer experience;

- Plan and work closely with partner organizations in planning, developing, and testing new operational improvements;

- Analyze, interpret and communicate all key business metrics with senior management in weekly, monthly and quarterly business meetings meanwhile proactively identify issues and perform deep dive analysis to guide business decision making;

- 8-10 years of marketing experience in a b2c company

- At least 5 years in management roles as people manager;

- Proven project management skills leading multiple, large-scale initiatives;

- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects while maintaining deadlines and managing resources with little or no direction;

- Results-oriented leader with exceptional execution skills, be willing to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done;

- Ability to measures performance via analytics and improves results by solving for root cause;

- Good team player and the ability to work with a wide cross-section of people in various locations ;

Professional traits those are not unique to this position, but necessary for Amazon leaders: Ability to operates and communicate at all business levels.

- Ability to think big and to inspire passion in others.

- Lead cross functional teams.

- An MBA is preferred

- Experience in the online advertising industry

- Impeccable attention to detail, passion for processes and systems.
