RESPONSIBILITIES The Planning & Analytics Manager will be responsible for (a) to define key marketing output goals and evolve the marketing input planning framework (b) supporting channel owners with measurement and optimization, and (c) driving service-level deep-dives related to customer acquisition & retention. Customers constantly provide us feedback in the form of their interactions with and usage of Prime Video and the P&A Manager is expected to work closely with marketing and BI teams to analyze this data, consolidate into insights, and communicate effectively to drive decision making at speed. Customer Obsession, Ownership, Dive Deep and Bias for Action are the key Amazon leadership principles someone in this role will be expected to raise the benchmark on. - Work closely with marketing channel owners to identify trends and patterns in channel-performance and customer interaction behavior to iteratively improve outcomes - Build/fine-tune models to help define output goals for marketing channels & campaigns - Support the customer lifecycle management team in defining customer segmentation strategy and goals - Integrate disparate data sets from across internal/external sources to formulate a consolidated view of brand health metrics, channel-performance, service engagement and membership retention to support key marketing investment decisions - Drive incrementality measurement of marketing investments with global data science and measurement teams - Take the lead on building consistent planning and analytics frameworks across Prime Video locales from a marketing standpoint - Own marketing KPI reporting responsibilities interfacing with finance and planning teams - Work closely with BI teams on customizing marketing dashboards and reports Who will like and excel at this? - We are customer obsessed. We are on Day 1 of building Prime Video for our customers in India and we will need to continuously uncover the human insights that can be tested to craft the ideal on-site experience for our customers. - This person in this role will be working closely with global teams across Amazon with ample opportunities to both share what we are learning while at the same time learning from teams across the globe - The ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner is critical to delivering impact in this role - Strong drive for execution and delivering results. An ambitious self-starter with excellent follow-through skills to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done - A passion for movies, TV shows and other great digital content wouldn- t hurt! Basic Qualifications - Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields - 7+ years of work experience in Marketing Analytics, Business Intelligence or Business Analyst roles - Prior experience driving analytics in a digital consumer-facing business - Experience using SQL, R, Python, or other tools to analyze large datasets - Experience with BI visualization and reporting tools viz., Tableau, MS Excel, etc. - Proficient in Segmentation, Clustering, Decision trees, Statistical modeling - Strong business analysis skills with ability to work in global, cross-functional team - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications - MBA \ MTech preferred - Experience with building machine learning models, marketing mix modelling and NLP would be an advantage
