Operations Manager :&nbsp; As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily sortation operations with large workforce for one of the Largest Sort Centre in India. In parallel, this is the first and only auto sorting centre in India, you would be involved into multiple projects to explore new process / best practices in sort centres to result in great customer experience. In addition, you would involve in Setting up the sortation centers within the region includes, locating &amp; setting new sites to ensure rapid expansions &amp; growth across the region. Top Skills :&nbsp; - Strong Operational excellence in managing a large team with set SLA or predefined strict timelines. - Strong analytical skills to identify root cause issue and enable foolproof practice to meet operational goals - Strong experience in implementing the formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen etc. Roles &amp; Responsibilities :&nbsp; - Coordination with other stakeholders like FC, Finance, CS and Projects team with respect to the daily operations. - Ensuring enough bandwidth concerning resource, workforce etc. for responsible site to accomplish the peak season volume. - Responsible for hiring, training and developing a highly equipped and motivated workforce for sortation hubs gaining support from HR and training teams, to ensure operational excellence and setting up high bar on quality and productivity. - Continuously improvising the defined processes to reach a sustained performance standard, Initiatives and improvements to enhance quality standards, reduce shrinkage, and eradicate needless work / task. - Responsible for analyzing the data reports and metrics to identify performance bottlenecks and improve performance. - Responsible for conducting the performance appraisals for your team members and mentor them to handle operations efficiently. Skills &amp; Experience :&nbsp; - Bachelors or Masters in any stream. - Experienced in Courier / Manufacturing / Warehousing shop floor Operations. - Proficiency in handling live operations meeting predefined strict timelines. - Strong knowledge in methodologies like 5S, Six Sigma and Kaizen etc. - Has the ability to handle pressure situations and deal with ambiguity. - Excellent in handling larger workforce and developing resource. - Has demonstrated ability to bridge the ground operations against metrics.
