Amazon.com is looking for a dynamic, innovative and accomplished Senior Manager, Business Analytics to join the Transaction Risk Management Services (TRMS) organization. The Sr Manager will have to handle managers who will own the metrics generation teams and also lead Business Analysts towards creation and development of Site Analytics team.   The successful candidate is one who thrives on understanding the complex TRMS Business, its data sources and design a consistent, stable and robust BI system that can be used by all levels of TRMS Business to take data driven decisions. The candidate will have exposure to multiple subject areas ranging from buyers, sellers to various payment processors. You will work with technical and non-technical users, including engineering leaders, project managers and operations teams, to design and implement key initiatives which will enable data driven decision making. You bring a refined set of soft skills when evangelizing risk management best practices and assisting internal partners in defining customer friendly business policies. Your strong management skills will be utilized to help deliver critical projects that meet various business and inter-org requirements.  Basic Qualifications   - At least Bachelor Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Operational Research or in a highly quantitative field or MBA  - 10+ years of experience in designing Business Intelligence and Analytics Systems   - 5+ years of people management experience leading team of managers and Individual Contributors  - Strong knowledge and experience in data mining, data cleansing and reporting  - Basic Knowledge of a statistical analysis package such as SAS, R, SPSS, or high-level programming language used in the context of data analysis and statistical model building  - Strong communication and data presentation skills  - Strong ability in problem solving and driving for results   Preferred Qualifications   - Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Operational Research or in a highly quantitative field or MBA  - Technical leader with 10+ years of exceptional, hands-on experience in building data related analytical models in e-commerce, fraud/risk assessment, or an enterprise software company building and providing analytics or risk management services and software.  - Over 10 years- experience in dealing with extremely large and complex data sets  - Strongly motivated by entrepreneurial projects and experienced in collaboratively working with a diverse team of engineers, analysts, operations personnel and business management in achieving superior bottom line results
