Job Title: Assistant Manager- Automobile Sales - Karnataka

Department: Commercial Auto - e-Rickshaw and Loader

Reporting To: Director - Automobile Sales

Location: Bangalore

About People E-Cart Sales Pvt. Ltd. : A part of People Group, spanning its interest across OOH Advertising, Travel, Technology, Real Estate, Modern Farming, Automobiles and Solar Energy, was founded in 2015 by a team of young dynamic engineers, entrepreneurs and passionate visionaries from IIT/IIM and other premier educational institutes.

The company has a state wide CNF and distribution rights of few leading e-rickshaw and loader manufactures of the country and is planning to harness the untapped potential of the sector and be a household name for First and last mile connectivity in Karnataka state i.e. People E-Cart.

General Description:

A young and dynamic entrepreneur with a willingness to work in an start-up type challenging atmosphere with an immense learning curve and with passion and expertise to be a part and outperform in Sales and Marketing team of a company established to harness a new business opportunity, right from scratch along with team of industry experts mentors and energetic young founders of the State-wide Automobile CNF cum Dealership of People E-Cart, electric rickshaw and Loader, a revolutionary product for a demography like Karnataka for first and last mile connectivity.

Responsibilities would include, but not limited to, from Team building - Dealer relationship - Sales Strategy and Monitor - Marketing Campaigns - Operations - Report on Dealer performance, market information, sales forecast, competitor performance, RTO analysis, application matrix, financier matrix & team productivity, MIS, etc.

Task, Duties and Responsibilities:

- Identify, assist in appointment and management of Dealerships across 27 districts.

- Involvement in intra-departments activities : Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, Corporate Relations - banks, govt. departments, insurance companies, manufacturer, etc.

- Sales and Ops of all including self Dealerships.

- Banks and Insurance tie-ups for across state.

- Business Development for retail, government and corporates sector.

- Oversee customer service checkpoints and measures.

- Monitoring each dealership in terms of viability and profitability.

- Initiate marketing programs/ BTL activities from time to time in the assigned region.

- Set targets for sales team and coordinates with team leaders to achieve required market share.

- Provide research, communications and strategy-related expertise to the sales team.

- Train dealers and dealer staff on sales process, product & CRM related activities.

- Conceptualize and implement marketing strategy.

- Report on Dealer performance, market shares, market information, sales forecast, competitor performance, RTO analysis, application matrix, financier matrix and team productivity

- Report to the management weekly/monthly on the project progress

- Build contacts in the Automotive/Automobile sector to lead team and generate business.

- Achieve sales and profit targets for the division.

Essential Skills:

- Problem solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.

- Strong operational and marketing skills.

- Ability to achieve targets in stipulated time.

- Proven leadership and ability to drive sales team.

- Innovative thinker who is positive, dynamic, proactive and readily embraces change.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills including kannada (pref.)

- Strong convincing and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work in a self directed fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem solving skills are essentially required

Experience:

2-7 years of experience as a Business Head/General Manager in a similar profile and working in the sales and marketing preferably in Automobiles domain,

Qualifications:

A university degree in business management preferred.

Travel:

Candidate must be willing to travel all over India at a short notice period.
