AM/Senior Analyst - Actuarial

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Program manage and review all deliverables and actuarial calculations for complex and non-standard projects

- Monitor progress of analysts to ensure that timelines and quality standards are met

- Ensure effective and efficient project management through ideals usage of in-house project management tools

- Active participation in knowledge sharing/training/process improvement initiatives and participate in testing of new tools/processes and roll outs

- Guide and mentor team members on actuarial principles, processes and help them identify and address their developmental areas.

Required qualifications and skills:

- Thorough knowledge of Pension / Post Retiree Medical Plans and Actuarial Fundamentals

- Strong working knowledge of actuarial valuation tools

- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills

- Excellent verbal/written communication skills

- Excellent coaching/mentoring skills.

Experience/Eligibility:

- 4+ years of relevant actuarial/pension experience

- Graduation with Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial Science or any subject with sizeable mathematical content
