Looking to hire AM/Manager Modeler with hands on experience in Statistical modeling Techniques using SAS & SQL.

Any domain experience will do.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

- Develop statistical models using techniques such as OLS, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Cluster Models etc.

- Liaison with operations for strategy implementation and post-implementation feedback

- Assess impact of strategic changes on loss forecast and expenses

Strategy Validation:

- Create analytics and validations to monitor performance of strategies

- Based on outcome of validations, develop recommendations to enhance, expand or contract strategic initiatives

- Develop automatic generation of standard monthly updates covering modeling, operations, and strategy performance metrics

Organizational Skills:

- Develop specific, detailed timelines with timetable descriptions for strategy implementation

- Manage implementation and review of existing and new operational models simultaneously

- Keep leaders in operations and portfolio management strategy group informed of ongoing developments and early indications of model performance and operational metrics

Education:

- Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics or mathematics

Experience:

- In depth knowledge of statistical models and data mining techniques

- 1-7 years of experience with SAS, SQL, Ability to effectively analyze and interpret large amounts of raw data to accurately convey business needs

- Strong oral and written communication skills required to effectively and concisely present key findings to senior management is a must

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to simultaneously manage and organize multiple projects

- Ability to recognize/analyze/resolve system and procedural problems

- Ability to lead and coordinate activities of a project group

- Ability to perform well under pressure and to work independently with high levels of initiative

- Excellent organizational skills
