Leading Big4 MNC based in Bangalore is hiring for Assistant manager /Manager -IFRS.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Independently manage IFRS / US GAAP and other accounting engagements

- Deliver GAAP convergence engagements involving planning, co-ordination and team management

- Provide IFRS trainings to clients

- Support transaction advisory teams in due diligence processes and identification of GAAP related matters

- Lead engagement teams on other accounting advisory assignments

- During the course of your work, you will be expected to be a people leader for your Department/Location and to also manage a team in terms of staffing, appraisals etc

- Reporting to a the Director / Partner on all location related matters

- Coordinating in developing the practice (people / clients and skills)

- Manage the profitability of the engagements and location

- Independently handle practice initiatives

- Apply IFRS methodologies in servicing clients on IFRS convergence engagements

- Coordinating with other practices at in identifying opportunities

- To be up to date with developments on regulatory and accounting matters

- To participate in the firms thought leadership initiatives

- Lead client proposals and actively work towards estimating time costs and responding to client proposals
