Objective of the Job:
- Ensure sales targets are met by the Corp Sales Manager & the sales team
- Assist sales team in developing and maintaining a customer database
- Motivate, develop, organize, and lead a team of sales personnel to meet the agreed objectives
- Assist the sales team in prospecting customers
- Meet customers to assist the sales team in closing deals and achieving sales targets
- Ensure all customer complaints are responded to personally / by a team member within 24 hours
- Coordinate with After sales team to ensure maximum retention of customers and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Ensure that the sales department has the equipment, work environment and facilities required to maximize productivity
- Develop, implement and monitor a follow-up system for all customers
- As per yearly Training Calendar, determine training requirements for the sales team and nominate them accordingly
- Develop appropriate promotion strategies for the department in consultation with the Sr. General Manager
- Maintain integrity of the dealer by ensuring that the sales department complies with established procedures and meets all legal and regulatory requirements
- Maintain and develop the profitability strategy of the department
Qualifications: (Those required to do this job effectively)
- Graduate / MBA in Business Administration
Experience, No. of years: Minimum 5 years in Luxury retail industry (automobile industry preferred)
Specific Knowledge: (Skills, Languages etc..)
- People management, Team leader, People Skills, Dynamic, Out-going, Assertive, Communicating skills, Decision-making ability, Administrative abilities
IT Skills: MS Office
Languages: Proficient in English, Hindi and the local language
