AM - Demand Planning - Supply Chain - FMCG (1-2 yrs)

To conduct the entire Demand Planning operations for Foods Business - Generate Statistical Forecast, Collect Bottom Up forecast from Sales, Validate Sales Forecast and Drive Demand Planning KPI improvements

Main activities/tasks:

- Generates baseline forecast by applying statistical models

- Coordinates with sales team for timely availability of bottom up forecast

- Reviews & validates bottom up forecast to finalize unconstrained demand

- Collects feedback from supply planner on production and procurement constraints

- Prepares metric dashboard for review in S&OP meetings along with root cause analysis

- Ensures adherence to key S&OP process completion dates and escalates when necessary

- Conducts S&OP meetings & root cause analysis to improve key demand side metrics

- Updates the forecast twice every month basis feedback from sales and communicate changes

- Triggers corrective actions due to unexpected demand variations

- Provides inputs for ABP preparation and long range planning

- Deploys demand planning strategy basis SKU class

- Promotions Management and SKU rationalization

Key KPIs:

- Forecast metrics (MAPE, fidelity and bias)

- S&OP Process Adherence

Education, qualifications, special training, experience and skills

B.E. / MBA with 1-2 years of experience in Demand Planning function with exposure to Demand Planning process, and exposure to some demand planning tools.

Skills : Good Analytical Skills

- Very good hand on experience on Excel

- Exposure to Planning Processes

- Knowledge of Computer, with software operation skills - MS office with expertise in Excel.

- People Management Skills.
