- Experience in home furnishing category.
- Soft line furnishing preferable
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude
Function: Buying and Merchandising
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Purchase Orders & Follow-ups on deliveries with the suppliers
- Vendor registration, article creation in SAP
- Co-ordination with warehouse team to process consignments
- Interaction with stores, to be able to resolve store issues, get info on customer insights, feedback etc.
- Manage MIS, generate Sales and Stock reports and prepare business snapshots
- Monitoring Vendor Terms & Conditions in terms of margins, credit period etc
- Vendor development and management
- Product development and inventory management
- Market Survey, preparation of reports based on Ranges, Price, presentation of merchandise within & with competition
